COVID RESTRICTIONS
No changes yet - Wadsworth Osteopaths continue to work with safety precautions after lockdown restrictions eased.
Covid legal restrictions will be lifted in England from Monday 19 July 2021.
We have discussed our approach within the practice and we are all agreed that we should continue to work with safety precautions, particularly with rising numbers of newly detected virus cases.
As we have for the last 15 months we are able to see patients with appropriate Covid-19 safety precautions in place.
Patients who have been to see us recently will know how we are working. For those who haven’t this is a brief summary:
Do not attend surgery if you have Coronavirus symptoms
Do not attend surgery if you have been asked to self isolate by NHS Track and Trace
• Osteopaths are wearing PPE (mask, gloves and apron) in surgery
• Patients are asked to wear a mask while in the surgery
• Osteopaths will sanitise surfaces between patients
• Patients are asked to wait in their car and they will be called when the consulting room has been cleaned
• Patients arriving on foot can use the chair in the hall (Cottingham surgery) or the chair in the waiting room (Beverley)
• Patients are asked not to touch doors (we will open doors for you)
• Reception staff are working but have no face-to-face contact with patients or each other
Detailed coronavirus guidance notes will be sent to new and returning patients before they attend.
